Hats are so underrated. They’re such a good way to accessorize, they keep the sun out of your eyes, and keep your forehead from becoming a completely different colour than the rest of your face. What’s not to love? Summer is THE perfect time to break out all of your really chic straw hats. I usually have one kind of hat that I stick to every summer, but this season I find myself alternating between a few. So, I gathered some of my current favorite hats to share with you all! The Statement Hat
How cool is this hat? It’s not exactly the most practical, but it just looks so chic! I actually borrowed it from Hannah (you might recognize it from her most recent post here!) It looks so good on and it’s pretty much made for the beach… Amalfi Coast anyone?
The Visor
When you think visors, you probably think of a tourist with a map and dad shoes… right? Well not anymore! I found this one and I’m totally in love. It’s as if a wide-brim hat and a visor had a super chic baby. This one, in particular, is SO good for traveling because you don’t have to worry about it getting squished!
The Classic
You can NEVER go wrong with a classic flat top straw hat. This one is super sleek and simple. If it looks too plain, I’d tie a pretty printed scarf around it or even a pretty brooch if you’re in the mood for some sparkle. If you ever look in the mirror this summer and you feel like something is missing- I promise you it’s most likely going to be a hat! ALSO- I always get a lot of questions about the sizing for hats. I’ve got pretty big dome so I usually stick with a size medium!
