Best Lipglosses
As 2017 comes to a close, it’s time to reflect back on the products I’ve reviewed during the past year and share with you my personal favorites. Finally! In 2017, we saw more than just matte with a lot more gloss releases, and it was nice to see a lot of pigmented formulas along with more typical, sheer and shimmery shades. Here’s the list of shades I started with to get down to the 32 you’ll find detailed in this post. I tend to like glosses more pigmented, particularly if they aren’t going to have any shimmer, and if they aren’t high coverage, then I like lots of shimmer!
Though not quite as pigmented as claimed, MAC’s Grand Illusion Liquid Lipcolours were fun and lovely for layering, as they caught and reflected light well. I was happy to see Bite expand their Creme Lip Gloss shade range, while Huda Beauty’s Lip Strobes proved to be well-rounded line-up of shimmery glosses from sheer to nearly opaque in coverage.
