Question of the Week: What perfume can’t you get enough of right now?
Well that’s an easy question since I usually only like new perfumes for about five minutes and then I can’t stand them. I have a dog nose, so my sense of smell is really strong, and I’m VERY picky about scents.
I have one favorite cruelty free perfume that I’ve been using since last summer (Sun) and a new fave that I got a month or so ago (Tarot Garden). I’ve reviewed Sun perfume by Lush before (it’s an amazing citrus blend), but I think it’s pretty incredible (and worth noting) that I’m almost done with the bottle. I don’t wear perfume every day and I get tired of scents REALLY fast. So I think it says something that I’m ready to buy a new bottle! I don’t think I’ve ever repurchased a bottle of perfume in my entire life. You can grab a bottle of this vegan perfume at your local Lush store or check it out here.
The second one is by my good friend Kedra of Opus Oils. She gave me a bottle before the holidays as a sweet gift while we hung out at her gorgeous Hollywood shop. This is a super heady floral blend. I don’t normally love florals, but this one is SEXY as hell. It’s mixed with a rose/patchouli and incense-like scent that I just love. As Kedra says: “Key notes include Narcissus Absolute, Pink Lotus Absolute, Moroccan Rose Absolute, Wild Lily, Opium Poppy Accord, Labdanum, Vintage Patchouli, Frankincense Oman, Myrrh CO2, Orris Root, Dragons Blood, and Benzoin.
