Summer is on it’s way, and so is the festival of colors, Holi. We’ve been thinking of a recipe that is colorful, refreshing and perfect for the weather. And what could be more refreshing and colorful than fresh fruit! Pair it with coconut water and you have a summer winner – sugar-free fresh fruit Popsicles! There’s no added sugar, coloring or artificial flavors – just wholesome refreshment!

Homemade Fresh Fruit Popsicles for All

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 3-4 fresh strawberries
  • 2 kiwi fruits

Method

  1. Wash and hull the strawberries to make thin slices. Similarly wash and peel the kiwi fruit, then cut into thin round slices.
  2. Arrange the fruits in Popsicle molds.
  3. Pour just enough coconut water into each mold to cover up the fruit.
  4. Insert the Popsicle sticks and freeze until it turns solid, for about 2-3 hours.
  5. To remove the pops from the mold, run the Popsicle molds under warm water. That should release the Popsicles from their moulds.

You can mix and match your favourite berries with either lemonade or orange juice or pineapple juice and create different versions of fresh fruit Popsicles. The best part – there’s absolutely no cooking involved! These 3-ingredient ice pops are the perfect treat for little ones who are prone to grab ice creams filled with calories and artificial colors and they’re also the perfect Holi treat for both kids and adults alike !
