Soane Britain
If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you know that I’m working on some home updates that involve lots and lots of daring patterns and textiles. It’s all super exciting and I can’t wait to reveal the changes soon! In the meantime, I thought I’d share some visual inspiration from Soane Britain, makers of beautiful furniture, upholstery, lighting, fabrics and wallpapers. Most of their collections are inspired by historical designs and classical antiquities and each design is made in Britain in small workshops that specialize in rattan chair making, saddlery and iron forging. In fact, they own the only remaining rattan weaving workshop in the UK! I’m absolutely obsessed with the Venus chair in velvet, the ceiling lights with the sweetest rattan shades, and the crazy cool rippled rattan console table. So good, so inspiring.
