Congratulations to Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo! The Maroon 5 crooner and his supermodel wife have joined the “two under two” club after welcoming their second daughter.
The new baby joins big sister Dusty Rose, 16 months – whose unusual name is thanks to Adam and Behati’s famous friend Ellen DeGeneres. I wonder if the talk show host had a hand in picking this baby name, too…

The dad-of-two has admitted that he gets into a bit of a panic over baby names, saying, “The name game is a tough game. Imagine you’re writing the best song you’ve ever written in your life and you have to name it — it’s really screwed up to have to actually have to put yourself through that.”
You won’t find Gio on the top 10 lists any time soon. According to BabyCenter’s annual baby name ranking, it landed way down at #18,078 in 2017. Dusty, too, is an under-the-radar pick, ranking at #18,065. Seems safe to say that Ava and Liam won’t be on the couple’s short list for baby #3.
We’ll give Adam and Behati, 28, some time to settle into life as a family-of-four, but more kids are definitely on the radar for the couple.
“I want a lot [of kids], I thrive in chaos,” Adam, 38, said in 2016. “[Behati] was an only child, so she wants like 100 babies. I don’t know if I can do that. That’s a lot of babies.”
I tend toward slightly more familiar names, but I quite like Gio. It’s short but sweet!
