Janessa Leone SS 2018

Despite what the weather outside may suggest, spring is officially here. And for those of us tolerating yet another bout of rain and snow, keep your head up. Soon enough, you’ll be able to trade in those cold weather wool hats for Janessa Leone‘s boaters, fedoras and baseball caps in light and dark shades of beautiful, handwoven straw. My personal favorites are the Michaela, made of packable straw and perfect to travel with (you can actually keep it rolled up in your suitcase for up to 3 days!), the Sydney, which can be worn with the brim flipped down or up, and the Cara, a baseball cap constructed out of a lightweight Sisal straw with subtle knotted pattern. Now, if only the sun can surface . . .
