Happy Monday everyone! A little NYC in LA! You can take the girl out of the city, but you can’t take the city out of the girl… An all-black look against blue skies and sunny afternoons =) Even when I was living in LA and now in NYC, I always have a soft spot for all-black outfits.
And within an all-black look, one essential piece is a great mini skirt. I love love this H&M balloon skirt (and it’s under $20)! There’s a sense of whimsy and a bit of strangeness about it. And I love it! It’s fun and peculiar. A paperbag waist style coupled with a balloon-shaped silhouette, this skirt flares up and out. And a plus… it has pockets! I love styling it with a wide belt (over the waist drawstrings) and turtleneck for LA winters or deep v-neck for NYC summers.
